Can you take the prerequisites for nursing school online?
Posted by: admin : Category: nursing online
My husband is in the military, and for convenience, I’d like to know if I would possibly be able to complete an associate’s of science degree (so I could go to nursing school) online.
And if so, would it be credible? I don’t want to do a lot of work, and then not be accepted into a nursing school. Any recommendations?
As long as they are taken through an accredited school they would be fine. Some classes aren’t given online though (usually those with labs).
I’d recommend getting the best grades possible, and volunteering in a healthcare environment.

It is completely unnecessary to take a science degree before applying to nursing school. You can apply directly to nursing school after completing the prerequisites. You would likely be abe to complete some or all of the prerequisites online. There is no other degree required before applying to nursing school.
